RESULTS OF SURVEY, SOME INSIGHTS

29/01/2018

In October 2017 a survey on Copernicus data was launched to get Belgian user input on what products are important and how they would like to access and use Sentinel data. With more than 500 respondents from all parts of Belgium, the survey has been a success and as promised we share some of the insights it gave us. Early conclusions say that Belgian users are very interested in Sentinel 1, 2 and 3 data, but that even higher resolution data is desirable. Most users are interested in the Belgian territory for all missions, but an expansion of products to a region of interest of Europe and Africa, even to global coverage would be helpful. The full results of the survey are now published here. This feedback will be taken into account for the further development of this platform.
