In our ongoing efforts to enhance the security of the Terrascope platform, all Terrascope User VMs will be updated during the week of 7 September 2026. Each User VM owner will receive an email with the exact maintenance window during which their VM will be updated.
The updating process is expected to take up to 90 minutes per VM. During this, the VM will be less responsive due to increased system load. As part of the maintenance, each User VM will also be rebooted. Users are therefore advised to terminate any long-running processes before the maintenance window.
In addition, we will introduce a recurring update schedule for Terrascope User VMs to ensure that systems remain secure and up to date. More information about this new update strategy will be shared soon.
