The QGIS installation on the User VMs has been updated, to align it with the version provided by the AlmaLinux EPEL repository. This change will also affect related dependencies, including GDAL.
The new QGIS version is now 3.40.10-Bratislava, built against GDAL 3.10.3.
In addition, we provide a Conda-managed GDAL 3.12.1 and 3.13.1 installation under /opt/conda. This read-only environment is intended to provide access to version specific GDAL features. For custom projects or processing pipelines, we recommend creating a separate Conda environment.

There is a known issue where launching the application from the desktop shortcut displays a popup requiring you to select "Launch anyway" before the application starts. We are currently investigating this issue and will release a fix as soon as possible.
