In an effort to maintain the best available quality of the Terrascope Sentinel-2 products, we are reprocessing our entire Sentinel-2 land product archive (TOC, CCC, CWC, FAPAR, FCOVER, LAI, NDVI). This is necessary, as we have been using different workflows over the years.
The reprocessing will ensure that all products are generated from the Copernicus Sentinel-2 Collection 1 MSI Level-2A data (https://sentinels.copernicus.eu/sentinel-data-access/sentinel-products/sentinel-2-data-products/collection-1-level-2a), resulting in a consistent time series made available to users.
This processing is expected to take several months to complete.
During this period, new products will continue to be generated from the latest available Sentinel-2 data, while older products are reprocessed in the background (going back in time). These newly reprocessed products will replace the existing ones in the archive once they are available.
New products will be clearly marked with the version number "V220". Products with older version numbers "V200" and "V210" are phased out and will be replaced as the reprocessing progresses.
