Access Sentinel-2 data from all over Europe
As from May 28, 2020 you can also use our viewer and web services to access and analyse Sentinel-2 data from all over Europe (as from March 2020). Next to Sentinel-2 data from the Benelux which was already available, you can now also access Sentinel-2 imagery and derived products of all countries that are part of the EEA39 area. By extending our EO data archive we want to be able to meet more user requirements.
Together with this expansion we are also launching a new product workflow which gives you even more reliable information. The transition from our previous workflow (V102) to the new workflow (V200) does require an adjustment in current workflows. To guarantee the quality of our archive, we have already processed the entire archive above Belgium. To allow you to adjust your own workflows as well, the previous workflow (V102) will remain available until August 31, 2020. More technical information can be found in a new, dedicated FAQ item.

These are downloaded from the ESA hubs, and are therefore in line with data from other platforms
- Re-processing all archived data
For the atmospheric correction we used Sen2Cor to guarantee the time series are continuous in time
- The vegetation index workflow has been updated
Sun and sensor viewing angles are now taken into account and the data is masked more strictly, so that only reliable values remain accessible
- New data catalogue
You can acccess all this new data via a new and improved data catalogue. The Product Distribution Portal (PDF) remains active for the PROBA-V data and previous V102 workflow
