We have updated the Copernicus Digital Elevation Model (DEM) at 30 m resolution in the Terrascope STAC catalog.

Terrascope will stop producing INSPIRE metadata at product level and encourages users who rely on these files to switch to the STAC metadata, which can be queried very easily.

Maintenance on EOplaza will be done on 11 February 2026.

The new openEO QGIS plugin enhances integration with openEO backends like Terrascope, openEO platform, CDSE and many others allowing users to explore, visualise, and download Earth observation data directly within QGIS.

Reprocessing of the Sentinel-2 archive will provide the best available quality data and consistent time series.

We will be updating GDAL and its dependencies on all User VMs.

The Sentinel-1 sigma0 and coherence workflows were updated to accommodate for data produced by Sentinel-1C. All details can be found in the updated ATBD documents.

The OpenSearch catalogue is being deprecated in favour of the STAC API: the service will be phased out on February 23, 2026.
Also related services that use the OpenSearch catalogue as a source will be discontinued. 

To increase security and help users to access sensitive information on their userVMs, in JupyterLab and in their Hadoop jobs, we are changing and aligning the permissions on the Public and Private folders.
