Join us for the 2nd edition of the Copernicus MOOC

After a successful first edition, Copernicus is organizing a second edition of the Copernicus MOOC. Copernicus MOOC is an online training to learn how to use EO data and services in order to address societal challenges and generate business opportunities.

The 2nd Copernicus MOOC starts on Monday 14 September 2020 and is accessible to all. Register for free and be able to follow 12 modules in 12 weeks (24 hours in total) including more than 24 inspiring use cases to show you the value of Copernicus data and how to benefit from EO based products and services.

During the session on ‘Air quality, water pollution and ecosystem health monitoring’ (available from 26/10) you’ll also learn more about the WaterMonitor, a case we developed for the Flemish Environment Agency to map large number of waterways and open waters. Jurgen Everaerts will explain how we use satellite data to detect algae and monitor the concentration of Chlorophyll.

The Copernicus MOOC is a Massive Open Online Course, free and accessible to all. It has been developed by the University of Luxembourg Competence Centre and PwC for the European Commission. The 2nd edition will be delivered between September and December 2020.

More than 3,000 participants already took part in the first edition. Join now and learn to harness the power of space data.
